Steph & Stuart

November 2018

I met Stephanie at The National Wedding Show last year and she booked me on the same day. I was amazed at how many Autumn/Winter wedding booking I was taking and I was slightly concerned about the weather but it was perfect. No rain, beautiful light, not even too cold for November, a wedding photographer’s dream! There are plenty of photo opportunites inside the venue as well so even if the heavens had opened, the photos wouldn’t have been compromised but it is always lovely to take photos outside if possible.

Curradine Barns in Worcestershire is a gorgeous wedding venue and so lovely to photograph. The lovely 19th-century barns have been restored beautifully, creating a contemporary and atmospheric wedding venue.  Well suited to both rustic and modern celebrations and a great backdrop for a wedding photographer. The staff are lovely and helpful too.

Steph was nervous about being photographed (as are most brides) but as I was photographing her from first thing in The Curradine Bridal Suite, by the ceremony and couple photos, she was used to me being around. I loved Steph’s flowers, such beautiful colours, they perfectly suited their winter wedding. Also their friend Ali produced the signage, table plan, place settings etc… They were all engraved wood and looked so amazing. See more of her work. Stephanie and Stuart were so clearly head over heels for each other and had so much love from their family and friends. Congratulations Steph and Stu, thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer!

From the bride…

The photos Amy took of our wedding were perfect. We have so many memories from them. Amy photographed exactly what we asked for and we have had so many compliments about how beautiful (and hilarious) the photos are. Thank you so much!
