James & Abi tied the knot at St Peter’s Church in Stourbridge and partied in style at Redhouse Barn in Bromsgrove. I’ve known James for years, he’s my Sister-in-law’s brother, I don’t think that makes him my brother-in-law-law does it? Anyway, as soon as he met Abbie we all knew they were meant to be and after plenty of planning they pulled off this incredible wedding. They got married in the same church as my brother and the ceremony was beautiful, you couldn’t have fitted any more people in the church. My nephew wasn’t too keen on paying attention to the vows though, turns out 2 and a half year olds would prefer to head straight to the light up dancefloor!

Bridal prep was at Abbie’s house. Gabi Hunt the make up artist ensured everyone looked incredible. Chloe Mocroft and Megan McQueen from The Hive Salon in Stourbridge styled everyone’s hair to perfection. The beautiful flowers were the handiwork of Flowers of Hagley.  It was a lovely morning with plenty of bubbly. Abbie was quite nervous but she looked amazing and I knew the day ahead would be brilliant.

 The guests grabbed flapjack and chocolate brownie as they left the church and gathered together for the gorgeous confetti shot. Next we all headed to Redhouse Barn for the all important drinks reception where you could pimp your prosecco, play ping pong and dance to singer Dan Greenaway!  I sneaked off with the bride and groom to take some couple photos in the lovely gardens. The rain stayed away until everyone was seated for the meal and the bridal party made their grand entrance to music. The food was incredible, speeches were funny and the party that followed was brilliant. James and Abi even organised for a surprise saxophonist (Jonny Ross Music) who teamed up with the DJ to create a spectacle on the dancefloor. Redhouse is a beautiful backdrop for a wedding, what a day!
