I met Jo and Tim at The National Wedding Show in Birmingham, we instantly got on and I was so pleased when they booked me to photograph their wedding. Bridal preparations started at the Staverton De Vere Hotel, the morning was lovely and relaxed and Jo’s friends were lots of fun.  Jo already looked so glam before we headed to Dodford Manor for the final bridal prep and for everyone to get their gorgeous dresses on.

Dodford Manor is a gorgeous barn wedding venue set within a lovely country estate in the Northamptonshire countryside.  Jo and Tim’s ceremony was beautiful, personal and filled with smiling faces. The weather was kind so canapes and drinks outside with the stunning countryside as a backdrop was perfect. After some group shots I sneaked off with this lovely couple for some romantic photographs and so they could spend a little time together. Your wedding can be such a whirlwind, it’s lovely to steal a few minutes away from the guests. Jo and Tim were a little nervous about their couple photos but with some encouragement they relaxed and made my job easy, they looked gorgeous.

The rest of the day was chilled and fun with plenty of booze, lawn games, great speeches, dancing and plenty of candid photographs of people having the best time. I had such a great day!
