When Kate booked me to photograph her wedding to Steve I was pretty surprised when she told me there were only going to be 14 guests. A very intimate day! I didn’t quite know what to expect but everything was wonderful from the choice of venue to the lovely guests and the entertainment. The Barns in Cannock has a small(ish) room in the eaves which was perfect for the ceremony and cosy evening reception.  The guests would have been lost in a large room so I think it was the ideal choice.

The weather was so mild for the end of December so luckily we could take some photos outside. Although even if the weather hadn’t been great there were plenty of photo opportunities inside too. It helped that Kate is so gorgeous and would you believe it her incredible dress was only £65! She won’t mind me sharing this inside info as she’s really proud of keeping her wedding budget low. And you could never tell anyway, looking at Kate, why would anyone need to spend thousands on a dress?

After dinner The Capture Booth kept everyone entertained until the magician arrived, he was very impressive! I was slightly concerned the photos wouldn’t be too exciting with the limited amount of people I had to photograph but I recommended Kate book my full package so I would would be able to take an interesting variety of photos from bridal preparations all the way through to the dance floor. I’m so happy with the results and Kate and Steve are too. Thank you both for choosing me as your wedding photographer!
