Wedding Photography

Leanne and Adam picked up one of my flyers at The National Wedding Show in Birmingham and after meeting for a chat and to go through my portfolios I was so pleased they chose me as their wedding photographer. They’re a gorgeous couple and I immediately felt at ease in their company, it’s so important for me to get on well with all the couples I work with because the photos will be even more amazing if they are relaxed and happy, not to mention they’ll enjoy their big day more instead of feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera.

The bridal preparation photographs took place at Leanne’s parent’s house where Candice Fuller (Make up artist) made Leanne look even more beautiful than usual. Her flowers by Jack Haddon had a subtle palette of cream and greens with plenty of foliage and I loved them. Next we headed to the gorgeous Culworth Church in Oxfordshire for Leanne and Adam’s ceremony. It’s lovely to photograph somewhere so traditional with such beautiful stained glass.

The Granary at Fawsley is a stunning venue that feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. The surroundings are beautiful and there are plenty of sheep, the perfect backdrop for a wedding reception and to take plenty of lovely couple photos. Leanne looked so glam in her stunning backless dress from Serendipity Brides. We met at The Granary for the pre-wedding consultation but nearly didn’t make it because of the snow!

The whole day was very relaxed, thanks to Leanne and Adam’s laid back attitudes and it felt like mid-summer, not like an April day! The sun was a slight challenge for photographing people without them squinting but we worked around it to produce a gorgeous set of photos. The most beautiful part of the day was seeing how close the family are and what an amazing relationship they have with the older children and little Bella. Leanne and Ashley seemed more like best mates than mother and daughter!

Oh my… we’re so happy! It’s going to take us a while to decide on which one we’d like on a canvas and it’s going to take even longer to narrow them down to 75 for the album. You’ve done such a wonderful job.
